Carp in Wales



			The lake record is a common carp of 36lb The lake has had eight carp stocked this year between 23 and 28lb!. Lamby Lake is producing many specimen coarse fish, including tench, perch and thousands of beautiful golden rudd. There are mirror, leather, common, ghost and grass carp. These carp are big (for carp in Wales!) four 30's, nearly fifty 20's (many 25+) and about another hundred doubles.
	Fish Stocking Lamby was stocked this winter with eight big carp weighing between 23 and 28lb. These are young fishers pond carp and all have the potential to grow over 40lb. Lamby was also stocked on the 20/11/07 with fifty young carp. These beautifully scaled carp are related to the stunning Horseshoe carp and we expect them to hit 20lb fairly quickly. click here to see.
