Carp in Wales



			The lake record is a common carp of 36lb We have placed an order for ten 25lb+ carp for next winter! Lamby Lake had already got a lot of various coarse fish stocked in it, including tench, perch and thousands of beautiful golden rudd. There are mirror, leather, common, ghost and grass carp. These carp are big (for carp in Wales!) four 30's, thirty 20's (average 25+) and about another hundred doubles.
	Fish Stocking Lamby was stocked on the 20/11/07 with fifty carp. They were the perfect fish for the lake. Beautifully scaled and renowned for their staggering growth rates. We expect these fish to hit 20lb fairly quickly, many will grow over 30lb. Maybe there will even be more 40lb carp in Wales soon! Click to see our new fish stock
